Like a flower out of the concrete, the independent book shop "Incrocio quarenghi” speaks for itself while the other bookstores chain are getting similar to each other.

Monica is the owner, graduated in oriental languages in Venice and script translator from italian to Chinese. The bookstore gives a very warm welcome to people that want read a book brought from home, have a coffee, chat or visiting exhibitions in the dedicated area. They organize many courses and activities like origami, oriental language or even meetings with the writers.

The space used for the book shop is very particular, cardboard shelves, a parking for bicycles by the entrance and a beautiful Agostino Iacurci’s murales that welcomes the clients.

A book shop like a cure against boredom...
