Following an inspirational trip to New York, Luca and Irene abandoned their jobs in advertisng in 2003 and decided to indulge their passion for cooking by opening Sweet Irene in Bergamo, a shop specialising in American-style desserts.

Over the years, their selection has changed as the premise is that they will offer what they like so the menu is constantly evolving. They are always looking for healthy and natural dishes that remain innovative and tempting. As well as plates, they currenty offer vegetarian and vega dishes.

Luca and Irene personally make everything on the meny, from brioches to muffins and cheesecakes to scones.
